Alright gentlemen, it is time to clear out your calendars. I am recommending Saturday, September 26th as the second edition of the Guys and Guns event. I will not be available to camp on Friday night, so we may have to save that until Guys and Guns III. If I have enough interest in September 26th then we will stick with that date (say leaving the church at 7:30am, returning when we feel like it) otherwise we may push it off until mid-October. Same plan as last time, bring a box of shotgun shells, a box of pistol ammo (start looking now!) and $5 for food. We may also be so fortunate to have Jerod’s friend Jaychin (I know I am not spelling that correctly) bring some incredible toys again. If he comes, let’s plan on giving him some cash for bullets. Also, my dad recently bought a very nice skeet launcher, so that will be a welcome addition!
We will figure out what all guns will be brought, and what ammo we will want as we get closer. I just want to see if there is interest out there. Please email Ben and let him know if you can make it, so he can get a feel of the interest. benandjj@gmail.com

Back to School Supply Drive
July 26th & August 2nd
Let’s help the missions & outreach team at Fellowship collect school supplies for the Lonsdale Community and West Vista Ridge Apartments. Items needed include backpacks and school supplies (paper, glue sticks, pencils, pens, erasers, rulers, markers, pencil sharpeners, crayons, and scissors). What a fun way to help out! Please drop off your items the next 2 Sundays (July 26 & August 2) at the Missions/Outreach wall in the lobby area.
Kathy Bailey would like to share a request for volunteers to help Resolve Ministries Biblical Counseling Center with their upcoming fundraiser. We will need help with a variety of tasks such as PR, set up/clean up, parking, etc. This one day concert event will be held on August 22 from 11 am to 5 pm at Belmont Heights Baptist Church and will feature 8 or more Christian artists performing throughout the day, including our own Kathy Bailey! There will be food, door prizes, awesome music, and opportunities to support a great biblical counseling ministry! Contact Kathy at 323-1028 or kbailey@resolveministries.com if you can help. Please plan to come and enjoy the day even if you can’t volunteer.
